Who is Keith Castello?

Keith Castello is the Founder and Board Chair of Kyrie Christian Education Services.
Keith is one of four preacher’s kids raised in a household committed to the Lord and His scripture. He was born in Abilene, Texas but moved often in his childhood. The Castello family moved to Euless, Texas when Keith was in high school. He met his wife, Alicia, during college and they married in 1994.

They have two sons. Both attended Covenant Christian Academy (CCA) from PK-3 onward. Keith worked at CCA for 20 years and continues to work in classical Christian education at Coram Deo Academy. Aiden attends Harding University and Timothy continues at CCA, set to graduate in 2027.

After graduating from Grapevine High School, Keith completed a bachelor’s degree in English Literature with a political science minor at the University of North Texas. He then studied the Bible and theology at Dallas Theological Seminary while Alicia completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. In addition to his three years at DTS, Keith studied Christian School Education at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary for another three years. Keith’s favorite educational experience was earning a Master of Humanities degree from the University of Dallas. Keith is finishing a Ph.D. in Educational Organizational Leadership from Liberty University. Keith’s many years of experience and his recent Ph.D. work forged the vision for Kyrie Christian Education Services.


Keith has 30 years of teaching experience in churches, community college, and K-12 schools. Over these years, Keith has taught math, algebra, geometry, English, history, Bible, Latin, logic, rhetoric, and leadership. Keith coached Jr. high and high school football, volleyball, basketball, track, and tennis. He has led worship teams and video production projects.

Keith’s leadership experience includes serving as Head of School for 20 years. He has also served in numerous leadership roles within educational accreditation and membership organizations including the Association of Classical Christian Schools, the Association of Christian Schools International, and the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools. Keith also served as the President of the Texas Colloquium of Classical Christian Schools before this organization became part of the Society for Classical Learning.

His love for the Lord, distinctively Christian education, and classical learning ground his professional efforts and guide his vision for Kyrie Christian’s innovative and practical approach to expanding the reach of Christian education
